There are two types of Milk Chiller Cooling Equipment: direct cooling type and indirect cooling type. The former uses a refrigerant (ammonia or freon) to exchange heat directly with milk through an evaporator, while the latter uses a refrigerant to cool the milk with a refrigerant (water or brine) through an evaporator.
Direct cooling is divided into the following types: immersion chiller. It consists of a chiller and an evaporator with an agitator. The evaporator with the refrigerant is inserted into the milk storage tank, the agitator rotates, and the bottom milk is sucked in and overflows from above the evaporator, creating a circulation. After all the milk has cooled, remove the evaporator and cover the milk tank to keep warm.
